What Makes a Leader Basic Trained

From now on, all registered leaders (including committee chairs and members of the committee) must have completed the required training courses for their registered position(s) in order to be registered in those respective positions.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills


The Ozark Trails Council, BSA invites you to participate in Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills Training (OLST), a fun-filled program of hands-on skills training in the outdoors, designed to help you master basic camp skills required for Tenderfoot to First Class Boy Scout ranks.

BALOO

BALOO stands for Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation. It’s designed to introduce Cub Scout leaders to the newly expanded opportunities for pack overnight camping. This is an energetic training that will cover everything you need to know to plan and run a pack overnighter. This training is mandatory for packs that do overnight camping.

University of Scouting

Come join us for a day of high quality supplemental training for Adult Scout Leaders. All registered Scouters are encouraged to sign up and take part in this fun filled training event. Come learn from people who’ve been in your shoes, and share ideas with other leaders. It’s great fun and you’ll learn a lot. See you there!!

Webelos Leader Outdoor Skills Training

This is your opportunity to take part in an enjoyable outdoor learning experience and discover what the outing in Webelos Scouting is all about! This course is for all adults connected with the Webelos Den: Webelos Leaders, Assistant Webelos Leaders, future Webelos Leaders, parent of a Webelos Scout, Cubmasters, and Committee members.
