Boy Scouting Program
Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
ROLLA MERIT BADGE UNIVERSITY 2014
When ? February 15, 2013. Merit Badge day is from 8:30 A.M to 4:30 P.M. Where ? Sign-in and assembly will be in the St Pat’s Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the Havener Center, located on the SE corner of University Drive (Hwy E) and Bishop (US Hwy 63), of the Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla. Take Exit 185, Hwy E off of I-44. Park in the parking area around the Havener Center or the parking lot off of Hwy E. Use the pedestrian underpass to cross Bishop. Sign-in starts at 8 AM. Cost ? $5.00 per Scout if registered by Feb. 5. Fee includes patches, merit badge cards, and supplies needed for the classes. Send registration to: Rolla Service Center, 612 Pine St., Suite 103, Rolla, MO 65401-3187. Checks should be made out to Ozark Trails Council BSA, and should accompany your registration. Paperwork must be received at the office by Feb. 5. If there are any openings after the registration deadline of Feb. 5, the fee will be $10.00. We do not expect to be able to handle walk-ins!
