TBA for 2009. Our last meeting was in October and the committee is finished meeting until March. The Committee feels that 2008 has been a huge success in completing many projects before year end!! All thanks to time and talents of local Scouts and Scouters. Meetings are held the last Tuesday of Month @ Cow Creek. Contact Bill Rohlfing for details 417-334-1481. Thanks to all who help keep our property looking great.

Thanks to the efforts and generosity of many volunteers and local businesses, we currently stand a little of half way (52%) of District Friends of Scouting Goal for 2009. If you or your unit has not had the opportunity to donate to this great program, please contact Jeff Barry.
Program Committee
Program Planning is the key to success in every aspect of Scouting, such as recruiting more adult volunteers. If you have a great program planned well in advance it builds confidence in parents and increases their desire to get involved. This is as opposed to standing in front of a group of families with nothing planned and stating "I/We need help!"
Special Thanks
Our Gratitude goes to 8 men that made Cow Creek clean-up day a complete success. Richard Miles, Bruce Shock, Bill Rohlfing, Jack Purvis, Scott Guthrie, Ron Detmer, Bill Stearns, and Richard Pangborn, with all of the community support epically Meeks Lumber for their generous donation of 10 square of shingles. Thanks to all volunteers who help provide the Scouting opportunity for our youth.
